I’m sorry, but this is completely off. The phrase “constant barking was a problem” implies the couple actually uttered those words. There is no way it would go down like that. It’d be more of a “your dog has such a wonderful bark!” with a response like “oh, he gets a lot of practice, but I do what I can to keep that down.”
